Music Production at our studios

Here at Become A DJ, we have a big love for teaching and mentoring people in music production. Many of our students have been on an amazing journey through their sessions with a dedicated instructor, coming out the other side feeling proud of the tracks they have created which tell a story about who they are. I have finally opened up the mac and compiled a little library of previews of some of the works created by students during their music production sessions.

The previews are sectioned into six playlists by genre: Techno, Tech House, Deep Tech, House, Deep House, and Other and can be accessed on our Soundcloud page HERE. If you’re looking for some inspiration we would encourage you to have a listen, and feel free to share your comments.

What’s more, in August we will be launching a new record label called Kombinat, which will be dedicated to emerging artists from the techno and experimental worlds - including many of our production students. The first release will be by our instructor, Ireen Amnes and is named Duality of Self.

If you would like to get into music production or want to improve your existing skills, please get in touch to have a chat with our instructor or book in your first session.

Ableton Live 9 instructor

Welcome on board, Sam!

Simone Tanda, or Sam as his friends call him, or Sam4Toys as the rest of the lot know him, is a certified Ableton Trainer and we are very lucky and thrilled to be welcoming him to our small team. Simone teaches in schools in London and Italy and is also a Keith Macmillen Product Specialist. In love with music from a very young age Simone started off with playing electric bass, moved on to Rome to study with the best professional musicians, later on focused on professional music production, recording, and composing. Passionate, creative, sometimes rough, Simone’s music is full of personality and that is, well, a rare gem! Students at Become A DJ will surely not leave the course empty handed!
