Born: 1989
Style: Techno

I learnt a lot of technical skill and a lot about the music industry in general. Above all I've made friends for life and continue to want to grow and develop based on what I have learnt from the course.

About Me

I was a competitive Irish dancer for 13 years and always wanted to Dj as I've a natural craving for rhythm. In high school I would burn CDs arranging tracks together that I loved and I would hand the CDs out to people in school signed Techno Mix. - Dj TNice (insert loads of heart doodles and stars with a sharpie pen). Fast forward to 9 years later and I was actually djing at gigs in London. Really cool journey when I look back! Since doing BADJ course I've had a lot of fun playing at house parties with friends and have also performed gigs, some include: Raw Silence with Los Suruba (Qube Project) Raw Silence (One Two Bar, Lithuania) HouseWife warm up for Lisa Loud (one of the first ever female house Djs) (93 Feet East) JackedIn (Secret Location), Remain In Light (RIL) (Secret Location) Carbon NYE Party (Galway, Ireland) Carbon Boxing Day (Galway, Ireland) Techno Tronik (The Shelter) Let's House and Techno (Horse and Groom; April) Let's House and Techno (Horse and Groom; August). Other: Mixes for various podcasts some include Deeper Sounds (now partnered with British Airways), In House Radio, and The Blackhole Sessions.

about become a dj

BADj was something I was very lucky to find. I came in thinking I would only need a few lessons to go from traktor to USB to vinyl - boy I was wrong! Day one I realised I was in for a long journey ahead and sticking it out was actually one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. I learnt a lot of technical skill and a lot about the music industry in general. Above all I've made friends for life and continue to want to grow and develop based on what I have learnt from the course.
