About Me

Always a lover of dance music, I came across a more underground house sound on a station on my car radio a couple of years ago, having been out of the clubbing scene for twenty-odd years. In those years I had focused on my career as a business psychologist and on my family as a mother of two great boys – Michael and Benji. So when I came across these ‘new’ sounds I thought, “What is this? – I love it!” Unfortunately I seemed to be the only one whooping with excitement listening to these fresh beats; no-one else seemed to hear or appreciate the music in the same way, so I went in search of the people who I thought would….the djs themselves. I googled “how to become a dj”, and guess who popped up!?

about bad studios

I had a good feeling about Become A DJ from the first email contact with Egle, where I felt treated as an individual …the subsequent meeting with Mantas sealed my fate! In that first meeting he takes time to get to know you and find out what makes you tick, as well as explain his unique teaching process. By the end I was so excited for the journey I was about to embark on….it felt so ‘right’ in every way. Mantas is a brilliant dj and a skilled teacher, who is always very honest in his feedback – I enjoyed every minute of every lesson, and found a great deal more happiness through Become a DJ than I dreamed I would. I entered their studio doors with a seed of curiosity about the DJ world and came out with a fully-fledged passion to be part of it – a testament to their style and approach. Happily the journey continues and I’m loving it. I highly recommend Become A DJ and can’t thank Mantas and Egle enough 🙂
