Dj Courses In West London
We view DJing as both an art form and a craft — a means of expression, creativity, and connection with other music lovers. Our courses are designed to help you master the decks as you would any other musical instrument, developing essential skills such as beat-matching by ear, mixing with precision, and building sets that reflect your personal style.
At BAD Studios, we specialise in electronic music, with a focus on genres such as house, tech house, minimal, and techno. Lessons are designed to help you not only develop technical ability but also explore how to create fluid, genre-appropriate sets that capture the energy of the dance floor.
With patience, dedication, and expert guidance, DJing becomes an incredibly rewarding practice — whether your goal is to play for friends, perform in clubs, or simply deepen your relationship with music.
Our DJing courses (CDJ and Vinyl) - are suitable for beginners looking to take their love for electronic music to the next level or more experienced DJs wanting to develop or refine their skills.
One-to-One DJ Lessons
Every lesson is private and two hours long, on a pay-as-you-go basis, led by a professional instructor who adapts the pace and focus to your individual goals. Lessons are available up until 11pm, seven days per week, giving you the flexibility to learn at times that suit you.

Our DJ Courses:
Full DJ Course (Pay-as-you-go)
Full DJ Course provides a well-rounded insight and expertise needed for beginners to master the skill of DJing.
The course covers and equips the clients with technical skills, musical knowledge, and performance techniques such as beat matching, mixing techniques, harmonic mixing, looping, and application of effects for creative expression. The second part of the course delves into chosen genre exploration to enable the client to build sets while nurturing curiosity and creativity.
At the end of the course, the client can choose to record a mix.
Our full course lasts approximately 12 sessions and will prepare you to perform in front of a crowd.
Time: 24 hrs | Price: £35/h

Each 2 hour session costs £70, except for the first session when we ask for a £140 payment which covers your first and last sessions. When you come to the end of your course, your final session will already be paid for or if you decide to stop earlier, then £70 will be refunded to you.
Custom DJ Course (Pay-as-you-go)
If you already have experience behind the decks but are looking to refine or up-skill, then our courses can be tailored to your needs. Whether utilising the many functions of the CDJs including hot cues and loops, or guidance with building a set and recording a mix, our instructors are here to help.
If you want to make the transition from bedroom DJ to performing - or from using controllers and laptops (Traktor/Serato) to industry standard Pioneer CDJs or turntables, our instructors will work to understand your goals and plan your sessions accordingly.
Before starting a course, we’ll ask you to come in for a free introduction session with an instructor, where you can discuss your goals and a plan for reaching them.
