ABOUT ME:  

I have enjoyed music from a very young age playing my trumpet in swing and jazz bands; touring in France and Germany, but I’d say my love of dance music started when I was about 18. As the music has evolved so have my tastes right from hard house and trance living at home in Yorkshire in the late 90’s through to more funky and soulful house living abroad in France. I then discovered Ibiza and my love of electro and now Tech house developed from there. I live in London now and a regular on the tech house scene, I love the diversity and all the cool little music venues that this city has to offer. I would say I have put in some serious time on the dance floor but always wished I was on the other side of that DJ booth! It was only a matter of time before I did something about this...

ABOUT THE COURSE:

I had been researching courses for a while; a complete novice but my love of house music and passion to make people want to dance drove me on. As soon as I found the BECOME A DJ course I knew it was the course for me. At this stage I only wanted to learn so that I could play at parties for friends I hadn’t thought about ever playing my own gigs in bars or clubs. Mantas promised me I would feel differently by the end of the course and that’s exactly what happened! Being a complete beginner the free lesson was the perfect way to start for me so I could get a good feel for it and I was addicted from the word go. I wouldn’t have believed at the start that I would walk out with the skill and knowledge that I have now. Mantas is a true musical genius. A great teaching style he let’s you go at your own pace but pushes when you need to be pushed. He makes everything easy to understand and the teaching environment is ideal. A huge thanks to Mantas for everything you have taught me. I will definitely be staying in touch and you were right; I can’t wait to get my first gig.... watch this space!!
